Build and Kill Zombies Badges: Requirements for the Three Documented Badges

See the three documented Build and Kill Zombies badges, what awards each one, holder counts, and which badges can still be earned today.

Three badges are currently documented for Build and Kill Zombies: the Welcome! badge, the Hacker Event 2026 attendance badge, and the You defeated the King 1x1x1x1 defeat badge. Welcome! is still earnable by any new player; the two Hacker Event badges closed with the limited September 2026 event and can no longer be earned. Holder counts were checked 2026-09-12 against the official Roblox badges API.

Welcome badge

The Welcome! badge is the baseline starter badge and requires no gameplay action at all: it is awarded automatically on a player's first visit to the experience. It is the most widely held badge after the attendance marker, with more than 450,000 holders, and unlike the event badges it remains earnable by any new player.

Hacker Event 2026 badges and how they were earned

Two badges are tied to the limited Hacker Event 2026 (September 2026). The Hacker Event 2026 badge recorded attendance during the event window — logging in during the event was enough to earn it — and sits at around 470,000 holders. The second, "You defeated the King 1x1x1x1", required beating the event's Great Boss, King 1x1x1x1, and is by far the rarest at roughly 40,000 holders. Reports differ on the exact share of players who earned it, with figures of about 14% and about 15.6% circulating, so treat the percentage as approximate and check the in-game badge page for current values.

The gap between attendance and defeat counts is the most reliable public measure of how difficult the boss encounter proved. Badge evidence is the primary confirmation that the event ran, since exact event dates were never publicly documented.
